THE PROJECT
We invite you to be involved in an exciting project creating positive change in the lives of thousands of women. Seven Sisters Festival is an annual 4-day 3-night women's well-being camping festival held in Victoria, Australia. The event has been successfully running for 11 years, often sells out, and has positively impacted over 15,000 women and girls. The event promotes over 140+ workshops and classes, hosts 100+ market stalls, 90+ healers & readers & 30+ performances.
THE ROLE:

Event Assistant
Work directly with the Event Manager and be involved in many of the behind-the-scenes, practical and operational aspects of bringing together a 4-day, 3-night camping festival.
​
TASKS:​
-
Document editing/updating
-
Researching & quoting for suppliers & materials
-
Printing/ signage creation
-
Crew acquisition & emailing
-
Meeting minutes & notes
-
Inventory
-
Supplier briefs & worksheets
-
Onsite support & shadowing of the Event Manager
-
Other administrative tasks as required

ATTRIBUTES:
-
Must have HIGH attention to detail, strong initiative and be a logical thinker.

Seeking an individual who is computer literate & competent with document creation and editing.

Someone who is reliable, organised and proficient with time management and interpersonal skills.

Ideally seeking someone with festival experience (attendee) or a desire to work in this field.

START DATE:

Aug 28th to Dec 5th with potential for ongoing work.
​
TIME COMMITMENT:
​
12-15 hours a week of part-time/casual work
In addition to 4-10 Days onsite (between 19 Nov - Nov 28)
