SEVEN SISTERS FESTIVAL- MARCH 17-20th 2022 POSTPONED

TO  COVID BACK UP DATE OCT 6-9th 2022

After an immense amount of consideration and with the safety of our contributors, our staff, and our attendees front of mind, we have decided to postpone Seven Sisters Festival to our planned Covid-19 back up dates of 6-9 October 2022.

It’s been heartbreaking to come to this decision, however, we understand the impact that Covid is having on Australia as a whole - our healthcare system, staffing levels, our communities, and our events industry. Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by the latest outbreak.

The strain of uncertainty in adjusting to a constantly changing climate and Government regulations have made event planning and forecasting challenging and risky. If the current restrictions were to still be in place on capacity, dancing and singing, this will have an impact on the activities planned for the festival.

Moving the festival forward to October will allow us to embrace Seven Sisters Festival as it should be - connecting women & feeling free in a safe and welcoming environment.

All previously purchased tickets will be automatically transferred over to our October event as agreed upon during the purchase of tickets. If you cannot attend the October dates, you are welcome to resell your ticket via tixel.com.

From the bottom of our heart, thank you all so much for your ongoing support for our festival, it really means the world to us.

We look forward to seeing you in October, celebrating our 10th year, delivering the festival in the manner you all know and love.

If you are a current ticket holder, Oztix will be in touch with communications shortly. If you have any questions, please see our FAQs below for further details.

Or, if you would like to speak to someone directly, please send your email to info@sevensistersfestival.com. As you can imagine, we’re currently working through all the details that come with postponement and so there may be a delay in response times.

Big love,

Lauren Woodman &

The Seven Sisters Team

POSTPONEMENT QUESTIONS

What happens with my ticket?

No changes are required. Your ticket’s scanning barcodes will remain the same and can be used for entry to the October event. Your tickets will be resent to you the week prior to the event, in case you have misplaced them.

Do I get a refund with a date change?

As stated on ticket purchase terms, if the March event is cancelled your ticket will automatically transfer to our Covid Backup date of 6-9 October 2022. You are however welcome to resell your tickets on our ticketing reselling platform www.tixel.com

What if I can’t make the October date?

You can sell your ticket to another interested buyer at our official ticket selling platform www.tixel.com

Will the October event be the same as what was planned in March?

Moving the festival forward to October will allow us to embrace Seven Sisters Festival as it should be - connecting women & feeling free in a safe and welcoming environment. If the festival were to go ahead in March, with the current government restrictions in place, we would have limitations of capacity, of singing, dancing & workshop types. In October, we see this rolling out as Seven Sisters Festival should be - camping underneath the stars, with hundreds of workshops, market stalls & experiences to discover over the 4 days / 3 nights.

Am I required to be vaccinated for the October festival?

The safety of our attendees, staff and volunteers is our top priority. We will be following current Government directives and adapting our plans as advice changes.
Restrictions have lifted across the board, masks are optional, vaccination or Service Victoria QR code checkins are no longer a legal requirement of the Victorian Government for venues and events. Currently Seven Sisters Festival does not require a vaccination passport to attend.

What happens if October is cancelled due to Covid?

In the event the re-scheduled festival date of 6-9 October 2022 is cancelled as a result of any event beyond the reasonable control of the Seven Sisters, full or partial refunds of tickets or granting credit vouchers, shall be at Seven Sisters sole and absolute discretion and will only be provided in the event such refunds or credit vouchers do not detrimentally impact Seven Sisters legitimate business interests.

Fortunately events are now eligible for Government based insurance to further protect against impacts of covid and restrictions to support the interests of patrons, artists, suppliers & event organisers.
